I didn’t do much today I’m afraid. I skipped my 30 day shred workout and proceeded to spend the first half of the day lounging around the house followed by running errands. By the time we were done with that I had binged on a bag of delicious and oh so tempting Italian cookies. I am afraid to even count the calories I consumed today just on those cookies alone. It was a momentary lapse in judgment (I love that phrase…lol) and I stuffed my face silly. By the time we came home I was full as a tick and so lazy all I wanted to do was take a nap. Eventually though we got out of the house and I took a one hour jog in the evening. It surely won’t cover the calories I ate today but well, at least I did something.
The app sort of malfunctioned at the start and didn’t record the first kilometer or so of my jog. So I stopped it when I got to the park and I had to take a little rest. My knees and shins were in pain. It always happens when I leave my workouts for the end of the day. I just don’t feel right and it is always so much better when I start my day with a nice sweaty workout. So we sat on a bench as I waited for the pain to subside and we continued on. I thought I would use the walking option as I wasn’t sure if I would be able to continue jogging but to my surprise I did. I jogged the rest of the way around the park and then home. So I sort of revised the workouts in the picture above.
Perhaps tomorrow we can go hiking for a few hours and I can redeem myself for my cookie binge. Hope you are all having an awesome weekend!
