If you’ve been reading my posts for a while you know I have a silly slipping phobia. This stems from all the times I have slipped and fallen on snow and ice. It hurts! The fear of falling and breaking something has over taken me for many winters! I had been meaning to brave the snow and go for a jog because darnit! I missed it! Specially when you really don’t want to work out but you do it anyway and you then elevate your mood and feel like screaming out loud: I am womaaaan, hear me roaaaar! Obviously I wouldn’t subject anyone to my screaming so let’s just say I use my inside voice.
So before I did the X-Train DVD I went for a jog. Check it!

X-Train Fit arms and shoulders DVD Review – This DVD is very boring. I put it on right after I came home from my run though. Perhaps I was a bit high on speed..lol But I found it dull, uninspiring and really, really slow. We are only working arms and shoulders I guess. But I have done DVDs such as the Firm and their workouts are always pumping me up. They move the routines along, have nice combinations, and you are not left there minutes at a time waiting for the instructor to finish yapping or breathing like a horse (not kidding you! it sounds like she neighs after every workout!) to start the next set. I wasn’t impressed with this DVD at all. I spent so much time standing around and waiting, I got fed up and just started the exercises by myself. I don’t get how difficult it is to explain and show arm workouts honestly! Specially as there was nothing overly difficult or brand spanking new to do as far as arm exercises with dumbbells goes. Tomorrow is legs..might be the same as this. God, I hope it isn’t.

Wow, respect! I wish I had both, motivation and time to do such a workout….:(
thanks! I have all day, so I really have no excuse to not do my workouts. Once I start to work or go to school I think I will find it harder. So best get fit now while I have the time!
