Not really much to say about food today. That above was my dinner. A generous portion of mixed vegetables and half a chicken breast topped with a light yogurt salad dressing. I had a piece of bread with light cream cheese, smoked salmon and cherry tomatoes for breakfast. That held me over until dinner time. I kept myself well hydrated with mineral water and herbal teas. The day went very well but I did notice a difference from the past two fasting days.
I have a bit of mixed feelings about working out hard on a fasting day. I found that even though I didn’t feel hungry – as in having a lot of hunger pangs- I did end up thinking about food all day. Even keeping myself busy wasn’t enough. The only difference I can find with this fasting day is that I had a very hard workout. So maybe I need to rethink my workout on a fasting day. Perhaps switch to strength training that day, that way I don’t feel so mentally hungry.
I’m looking forward to tomorrow but still a bit apprehensive. I hope I don’t go over the top with food. Going to definitely try to stay within my calorie limit.
